MacCallum House set the standard in the very early days of the interest in organics with Executive Chef Alan Kantors’ long-time focus on sustainable farming and honoring his purveyors with a special food-shed map in an original colored drawing in the Inn/Restaurant foyer and on the Web site. In addition, the Web site at www.maccallumhouse.com has a special link to a purveyors’ section with a description of each small farm and vendor. The restaurant has been written up in several professional restaurant business publications for this work and also for placing names of purveyors directly on the menu selections.
