*Pet Friendly* Daisy's aunt Jennie, who founded the town and mill known as Glenn Blair just north of Fort Bragg, would have loved the view from this room named after her. Look out over the green lawn and roses to the main house. West and south facing windows bring warmth to the rich old growth redwood beams. To the south you can see the Mendocino Bay and the pounding surf. A king sized bed and richly tiled bathroom make for a relaxing stay. This room includes a Flat Screen TV with DVD-CD Player, cable, and refrigerator.

Please note: in-room massage is not available in this room. You may contact an Innkeeper for other options for massage during your stay.

All rooms at the MacCallum House include a gourmet breakfast served at the Main House from 8:15 - 10:00 am Monday - Friday and 8:15 - 11:00 am Saturday, Sunday & Holidays. Also included: - For each room two $7 dining credits are available every evening in the Grey Whale Bar & Café or the Dining Room on the Main Property. Enjoy towards dinner, desserts or for a house specialty cocktail or glass of premium local wine. 5:00 – 9:00 pm. Winter rates require a deposit of the first two nights room rate and tax.


Quiet, peaceful…That is what I most noticed during my stay here. It was so quiet! Although I live in a small town tucked in the Sierra Nevada mountains the serenity of this town and the ocean are incomparable. There are no sounds from the mill or the droning of small planes overhead. I did not realize how much I missed the peacefulness that stillness can bring. The MacCallum House has extremely good energy and it feels like a favorite old sweater. I think that I came home in a sense. Besides the well appointed rooms, the employees were very friendly and gracious. Enjoy your stay here.
