The writer's quarters. Relax in the solitude of Mendocino and slow down in front of the wood burning parlor stove. This two-story accommodation has a queen bed upstairs and a bathroom downstairs with shower. Additionally, this unit has cable TV with a DVD player as well as a CD stereo. Make sure you check out the original sign from Daisy's mothers Baptist church just inside the front door. All rooms at the MacCallum House include a gourmet breakfast served at the Main House from 8:00 - 10:00 am Monday - Friday and 8:00 - 11:00 am Saturday, Sunday & Holidays. Also included: - For each room two $7 dining credits are available every evening in the Grey Whale Bar & Café or the Dining Room on the Main Property. Enjoy towards dinner, desserts or for a house specialty cocktail or glass of premium local wine. 5:00 – 9:00 pm. Winter rates require a deposit of the first two nights room rate and tax.


We've enjoyed this charming room set in this incredibly beautiful setting. From the park at Gualala to the Glass Beach in Fort Bragg the views are breathtaking! Walking the streets and bluffs here in town was most enjoyable. A trip through Anderson Valley and all the wine tasting rooms was a delight! Be sure to visit Lazy Creek!
